As CEO and Managing Broker of Laverty Chacón Commercial Real Estate, Tanner is responsible for business development, brokerage operations and expansion of the geographic markets.
Tanner joined Laverty Real Estate in 2004 as part of an expansion effort. The addition of his skills and talents enabled the company to provide Brokerage Services such as seller/buyer and tenant representation. In 2006, Tanner and partner Marc Chacón purchased the company, changing the name to Laverty Chacón Commercial Real Estate.
A licensed Real Estate Broker, Tanner is also a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Designee. He practices financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis and investment analysis for commercial investment real estate. Since joining the company, Tanner has been responsible for over $25,000,000 in Sale and Lease transactions.
Prior to joining Laverty Real Estate, Tanner was Sales & Marketing Director for the Western Region of Kip Prahl Associates (KPA), a nationwide environmental and safety consulting firm. Tanner traveled the country negotiating national contracts and was KPA’s top producer for over two-and-a-half years before leaving to join Laverty Real Estate.
Tanner received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from San Diego State University and graduated with Distinction upon the “recommendation of his professors for doing superior work in Economics”. During that time he also extensively studied Mandarin Chinese, Psychology and Philosophy.
A native of Roseville, California, Tanner enjoys playing basketball, volleyball and golf, wakeboarding, snowboarding, and skiing.
