Laverty Chacón’s New Commercial Real Estate Site is Live!

As you’ve no doubt heard by now, we’ve been working hard for the last several months to roll out a new website that is more than just an online brochure.  Well, it’s finally here!  The new www.lavertychacon.com has a totally different look and feel and should ultimately be a better resource for owners, tenants and brokers.

If you have a chance to check out the new site, some of you may realize that it is set up quite the same as the last one, but with a few changes.  Other than the look of the website, the most significant change is one that is not noticeable, but is extremely important when considering the way people search for information today.  Gone are the days of the phone book because the age of the internet and more importantly, Google, Yahoo and Bing is upon us.  Most people immediately go to these search engines to search for content they are interested in and Commercial Real Estate is no different.  Unfortunately, our last site was not set up to register well with these search engines, but the new site is designed with this specifically in mind.  We hope this helps people find us, the information we provide and the properties we list much better than in the past.

The next significant change is that we have added a Blog as well as revamped the way the property availabilities are posted.  Each of these changes should increase our visibility on the major search engines.  As you have seen, we have been sending out more emails, which were specifically requested by our clients last year in order to increase communication.  They asked us to inform them about changes in our company, the economy and commercial investment real estate as well.  Now that the new website is up and running, these emails will take the form of a “post” to our blog, which will allow you to read it at your leisure or ignore it if the info is irrelevant to you.  The property listings will also take the form of a post, which will allow people on the internet to find the property information better.

Other than the above, we’ve increased the resources on our site such as a Service Request, Forms, Helpful Links and in the future we hope to publish White Papers (which are helpful “how to” documents) and Market Info.  In all cases, we’re going to do our best to create interesting content for commercial property owners, tenants, vendors, brokers, agents and managers that deal specifically with issues concerning:

Best Practices
Bookkeeping
Buying and Selling
Careers
Finance
Insurance
Maintenance
Management
Marketing and Leasing
Policy
Property Taxes
Technology
Tenants
Vendors
